TALES, The Association of Library Equipment Suppliers, was formed in 1981 to represent the interests
of companies dedicated to supplying the library and information sector. Twenty something years on we still
need to promote the cause of best and sustainable supply within this, our dedicated marketplace.
Our primary aim is to ensure exposure of valid suppliers able to fulfil the needs of purchasers in this specialised
sector, and TALES membership is listed under five specific headings:
1/ Shelving, furniture & associated equipment
2/ Books, journals & other print material
3/ Automation, ICT & security
4/ Conservation, large print, AV and other media supply
5/ Human resources & professional services
